In Class 10-27-10
In class today we continued to watch the movie about the Lost Boys and what they are becoming in America. It began with the Lost Boys that came to America spreading their point on why issues in Sudan should be solved. One of the Lost Boys said the solution to the Sudan issues is in Africa, the people there and the natural leaders that are born there. Panther decides to go back to Africa and meet his future wife and to see his homeland again. We also began talking about a group project that we will be starting tomorrow about news in Sudan and stuff like that.

In what we watched today, it showed the people getting into their new jobs, what they have to repay to the government (such as airplane cost and other costs the government lent them with) and during the end of the part we watched, it was Christmas time and they were unsure and had many questions about it.

Lost Boys of Sudan
The Lost Boys of Sudan had to run away from their home in Sudan because civil war broke out, killing thousands of innocent people in Sudan. Boys were specifically threatened by this civil war and thats why they were called the "Lost BOYS".
The Lost Boys left Sudan and walked to Ethiopia and lived there for a little, but after a while, Ethiopia's government toppled and they basically kicked the Lost Boys out, forcing them to walk to Kenya.
The refugee camps were really hard for the lost boys because they were short on food, water, and other supplies.
