• Right now there are more people on the planet now then there ever has been. 
• 90% of this population growth takes place in the developing countries of Africa, South and East Asia, and Latin America.
• It took until 1804 to have our population to be 1 billion, that took over 10,000 years.
• To get the next billion, it was in 1927, that took 123 years.
• To get our 3rd billion in 1960, it took 33 years.
• To get our 6th billion in 1999, it took 12 years.
• This says that over the years, our population grew by the billion faster now, than in the 1800s and the early 1900s.
• In Japan, woman are expected to live a little over 7 more years than men.  
• In the USA women were expected to live a little over 5 years more than men. 
• In Swaziland women were expected to live just a little under a year more than men.
• Woman are expected to live longer because men have the more dangerous jobs, and more men are in combat in the military than woman. Also, men go to the doctor less than women. 
• Rate of Natural Increase doesn't count migration. 
• Germany has the opposite of the "Baby Boom" because they have a low of reproduction. 
• Germany is basically begging people to have kids, "Be patriotic and have a baby" according to Mr. Schick.
